1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the use of the website www.elwag.pl (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) by users, including
the principles of processing and protection of personal data as well as the storage of and access to data on the end devices of Website users.

2. The Website and Operator and the Controller of personal data with regard to data voluntarily provided and processed through the Website

3. The Website processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • handling inquiries submitted via the contact form,
  • presenting offers or information.
4. The Website collects information about Users and their behavior in the following ways:
  • through data voluntarily entered in forms, which are subsequently introduced into the Operator’s systems,
  • through the storage of cookies on user’s end devices.

2. Selected Data Protection Measures Applied by the Operator

1. Login areas and places where personal data are entered are secured at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data entered on the Website are encrypted on the user’s device and can be read only on the target server.

2. To protect data, the Operator regularly performs backup copies.

3. An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular includes systematic updates of software components.

  • diagnostic information related to the self-ordering process carried out through the Website’s registrars,
  • information connected with the handling of electronic correspondence addressed to or sent by the Operator.

1. In certain situations, the Controller may transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or for the fulfillment of obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to the following categories of recipients:

  • the hosting company under a data processing agreement,
  • authorized employees and collaborators who use the data in connection with the operation of the Website,
  • companies providing marketing services to the Controller.

2. Your personal data will be processed by the Controller no longer than is necessary for the performance of activities arising from specific legal provisions (e.g. accounting regulations).

3. You have the right to request from the Controller:

  • access to your personal data,
  • rectification or updating of data,
  • erasure of data,
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability.

You have the right to object to processing referred to in point 3.2 with regard to the processing of personal data for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, including profiling. However, the right to object may not be exercised where there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, in particular the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

5. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

7. You may be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, in order to provide services under a contract and for the Controller’s direct marketing purposes.

8. Personal data are not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection legislation. This means that we do not transfer them outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

1. The Website collects information voluntarily t, including personal data such as name, surname, e-mail address and telephone number, where such data are provided.

2. The Website may record information on connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).

3. In certain cases, the Website may store information facilitating the linking of data entered in a form with the e-mail address of the user completing the form. In such instances, the user’s e-mail address may appear within the URL of the page containing the form.
